years of age.
Must
have

schoo
l
diploma or GED.
Mus

be able
to read
and write the English
language.
Must meet a

legal requirements necessary
to become
elig

ble for future certificat

on by the Texas Commission of Law Enforcement (TCOLE).
All
test
participants
receiving
a
grade of 70 or more
points
on the written examination, shall
be
determined
to
have
passed.
Grades
on
such
wr
itte
n
examinat
i
ons shall be
based
upon a maximum grade of
100
points
and
shall
be determined entirely
by
the
correctness
of
each app
lic
ant' s
answers to such questions.
Certified candidates and/or certifiable with TCOLE will
be
given
preference.
The agi
l
ity portion of
the
exam will be proctored on the same
day
of the wr
itt
en exam
please
dress appropriately. A copy

The eligibility list created as a result of the written examination will remain in effect for a period of 1 (one) year.
