FirstLight Home Care has an opportunity for new employees to get CNA training!
FirstLight Home Care received a Going Pro grant which provide us with the opportunity to hire 10 people who will receive free CNA training as a part of their employment benefits.
FirstLight Home Care also now offers medical, dental, and vision insurance for its caregivers who work 30 hours or more after 90 days! We have other supplemental benefits as well.
We will be interviewing this week for these 10 positions.
As we take on these unprecedented days together, we are in need of caregivers to care for our most vulnerable population. We are looking for extraordinary people to provide exceptional care as we have a shortage of caregivers to provide the quality care that people still need. We provide home care services such as companion care, meal prep, cleaning, personal care, dementia care, and more. If you want to make a difference in someone’s life, we have the opportunity for you to do this.
During this time of crisis, no experience of certification is required, we will train you on all you need to know. If you're looking for hours temporarily or just to help the most vulnerable and desperate for care in our community, we can get you hired, trained and working shifts within days of your application for the position of caregiver/ home health aide. Full time and overtime available.
We have a protocol in place to address and manage the risks and spread of Coronavirus. We do provide masks (N95 if needed), gloves, hand sanitizer, a shield (If you want one), and gowns to ensure you are as safe as possible in their homes.

Pay starts at $10.50 an hour, with an opportunity for a raise after your first 90 days!
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Caregiver, you will be primarily responsible for providing companionship and assistance with meal preparation, laundry and light housekeeping, including:
Provide social companionship
Support with a variety of daily living tasks and reminders
Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
Light housekeeping and meal preparation
Standby assistance with personal hygiene
Overnight safety assistance
QUALIFICATIONS
A compassionate heart for older adults
Valid driver's license and transportation
Ability to travel 25 miles for any scheduled shifts
The ability to lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds
Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
