We are dedicated to quality workmanship and providing exceptional service to our clients. We are seeking an entry-level accountant to join our team in our Tucson office.
As an accountant, you will play a critical role in our organization by supporting accounting operations, financial analysis, and financial reporting. We are seeking someone who is passionate about accounting and finance, detail-oriented, and organized. Responsibilities
Manages accounts payable processes
Reconciles monthly balance sheet
Prepares monthly pay request for project management approval
Prepares monthly cost reports for Project Manager review
Maintains accurate and up-to-date accounting records
Assists with month-end and year-end closing/audit
Acts as back up for weekly payroll processing
Acts as back up support for subcontractor payment processing
Assists with other accounting and finance projects as needed
Requirements
Associates degree in Accounting or equivalent years of experience
1-2 years of general accounting experience
Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Knowledge of Vista accounting system and familiarity with GC Pay
Skill in using 10 key calculating machine by touch
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and contribute to a team effort.
