Job Description
Lynn and Darla Supported Living is a growing agency that supports adults with Developmental and/or Intellectual disabilities. We support customers in Sonoma, Solano and Napa Counties.
Our Mission: We are a group of people who have joined together to educate, empower and support people with intellectual/ developmental disabilities to realize their life options and rights as well as support them to carry out personal goals. We work with our customers, their friends and families to create safe, welcoming communities to achieve their goals.
Direct Support Professionals are an integral part of our team and work directly with our customers in their homes and in their communities. Various shifts are available, including overnights and weekends.
Direct Support Professional/Support Coach Tasks:
· Community integration
· In-home daily living support as needed (cooking, cleaning, personal care, activities)
· Driving Positions: Transport to/from medical appointments, social gatherings, activities
· Assist with teaching life skills using love and compassion
· Assist with medical/medication management as needed
· Assist with health care and nutrition as needed
· Assist with financial planning / money management as needed
· Assist with tracking activity schedules with customers
· Attend weekly team meetings
· No Experience Necessary; Paid Training
· Health Benefits after successful completion of introductory period
· PAID Certification in Non-Violent Crisis Prevention Intervention
Requirements:
· Undergo & maintain a D.O.J. background check, in accordance with local law/regulations
· Driving positions need reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, valid insurance and valid vehicle registration

Salary: $16-$18 /hour
