Summary:
Responsibilities will vary from performing one procedure or work instruction on several analytical microbiological or quality system procedures or work instructions in a food safety laboratory. Start wage is $20.60 per hour and is non-negotiable. This position is primarily a first shift position with a rotation to cover weekends and holidays. Candidates must be able to start work within 3-4 weeks from offer date. This is an entry-level position with no reimbursement available for interview, travel or moving expenses. Precision and accuracy in performance of the work instructions and data collection is essential. Must be able to maintain ISO records for process control and comply with quality system and safety requirements. Initial proficiency testing must be passing, and competency will be verified at least annually thereafter. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency and growth after training. Other duties as assigned. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed. Must have general knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
Requirements:
