Job Description
Working closely with the GE Corporate EHS technical and legal teams assisting with portfolio project management, oversight of GE’s contractors and consultants, drafting and revising technical documents, and government agreements related to GE’s active remediation project matters
Attending and listening in on conference calls, and strategy briefings with both key internal and external stakeholders
Supporting company initiatives on climate change engagement and sustainability policy and reporting
Working with and liaising with EHS and GE business technical team members on EHS related matters within our corporate charge.
Qualifications/Desired Characteristics:
40 hours/week minimum commitment for 1 year.
A strong academic record
A team player with a positive attitude
A good communicator who is collaborative, takes initiative and enjoys a fast-paced work environment – excellent interpersonal skills
Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Organized and detail-oriented self-starter
Strong presence with an understanding of the importance of relationship building and networking, particularly, the desire to provide first-rate customer/client service delivery
Location Flexible US remote acceptable. Some travel
