Job Details:
The starting pay for this position is $16.80/hr. with a shift increase for second shift. We have open positions for second shift.

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position could work in any department of this meat processing facility that may include but is not limited to Processing, Packaging, Shipping and Receiving, and Smokehouse. Applicants will be considered for any general labor type openings.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor
Perform general housekeeping duties in the department
Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements
Perform all positions of rotation, if applicable
Handle raw or smoked bacon
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be willing to work any day or schedule assigned to include weekends.
Standing, walking, bending, squatting, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling and reaching are required in all areas.
Must be able to reach high and low levels, frequently.
Ability to flex/grip with wrist/hands repetitively.
Must be able to push/pull/lift 40 lbs. or more if required.
Must be able to stand 8-10 hours on hard floors.
Must be able to work in a cold, damp or hot and humid environment that may have slippery walking surfaces.
