POSITION SUMMARY: The Human Resources (HR) Assistant will work closely with the full Human Resources team to support various talent management and talent acquisition activities, with particular focus supporting the new hire and onboarding process for new employees. The HR Assistant is responsible for performing a broad range of HR and Administrative support functions for this team as well as employees in the business. The HR Assistant will obtain a very well-rounded view of the Human Resources profession. This is a coveted entry level opportunity for an individual seeking to learn the unique components of HR, discover interest in specialized areas and be part of a fast paced environment and dynamic HR team.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:  Employee Lifecycle ProcessInput open positions into Workday, our people management system, to kickoff the talent acquisition process.Coordinate the new hire on-boarding process with Talent Acquisition to ensure New Hire information is added to Workday in a timely manner.Coordinate new hire invitations for Brand New Start (orientation) and confirm facilitators for each session.Verify the integrity and completion of all new hire documentation, ensure the effective onboarding of new employees. Examples include request for identification and Wage Acknowledgement Forms.Assist in troubleshooting with hiring manager regarding any computer/tech requests for new associates.Submit termination request details to appropriate internal partners, such as IT and Facilities, and coordinate the collection of company equipment in a timely manner.Deliver high client service by offering solutions and effectively problem-solving questions or concerns raised by clients.Act as the liaison with several HR departments including Payroll and Benefits, in order to manage and resolve day to day inquiries.Temporary AssociatesEnsure all relevant parties are aware of the start date and contact information for a temporary associate.Route paperwork to the temporary associate on their first day and confirm all required documents are signed and saved.Accurately log the temporary associate on the master tracking sheet and periodically distribute to HR and Finance.Manage database of independent contractors and freelancers.Send Computer Access Request Forms, Workspace Set Up links, and On-boarding instructions to hiring manager and coordinate any distribution of company equipment.​Data ManagementConduct and distribute reports related to the Human Resources function, including Turnover and year-end reports in system as requested.File required documentation into employee personnel files both physical and electronically.Preparing and reviewing audit reports, correcting any pending transactions such as, Workday approvals, work authorization.Ensure timely submission of new hire/termination information; run reports for compliance and share with Senior HR Leaders.Coordinate all business critical requests to work in-office.Draft promotion and salary adjustment memos for associates across the enterprise.Manage processing of bonus payments for employee referrals.Assist in supporting employee engagement programs and opportunities.Prepare Employment Verification letters and requests when needed.Maintain and update org charts in Workday as well as the internal HR org charts in Visio, including the Calvin Klein Leadership organization.Assist with the Calvin Klein Summer Intern Program communications and logistics.Be a point of contact for HR related inquiries, fielding questions to the appropriate cross-functional partners.Keep apprised & updated on new regulations, company policies & proceduresAttend & participate in training courses pertinent to Human Resources as requiredAssist with other HR projects and initiatives as needed.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Must be flexible to adapt to these changing business needs or special projectsPossess a natural, yet professional ease at working with and relating to the needs of employees in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentExtremely organized and detail orientedMust be able to handle multiple prioritiesExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsExperience:  0 - 1 years of experience preferred            Education:   Bachelor’s degree preferredSkills:  Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsMust be able to handle multiple prioritiesExtremely organized and detail orientedPossess a natural, yet professional ease at working with and relating to the needs of employees in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentMust be flexible to adapt to these changing business needs or special projectsMust be able to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality where appropriatePC skills (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel), HRIS systems, especially Workday,  a plus PVH Corp. or its subsidiary (\PVH\) is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment on the basis of their individual capabilities and qualifications, consistent with applicable law and without regard to race, color, sex, gender identity or expression, age, religion, creed, national origin, citizenship status, sexual orientation, genetic information, physical or mental disability, military status or any other characteristic protected under federal, state or local law.
