This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening on either shift, A-Shift (Mornings) or B-Shift (Evenings), work schedule Thursdays, Friday, Saturdays and Sundays.
Applicants will be considered for any openings in the Beef, Ground Beef and/or Pork departments. Jobs are fast pace and require repetitive motion. Some positions require lifting and pulling up to 40 pounds. All work is performed in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 36 – 42 degrees and requires standing up to six (6) hours per day. Applicants must be willing to work with knives, if required, and wear all proper safety equipment. This position is for a part time general labor position and weekly schedules will be less than 30 hours per week. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for a Plant Tour. If the applicant is not contacted within the month that they applied, they will need to reapply again the following month to be considered.
