Job Summary
Responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications. Completes programming and implements, tests and debugs defined software components.

Core Responsibilities
Reviews, writes and edits codes. Conducts analysis to determine integration needs.
Researches, writes and edits documentation and technical requirements, including software design evaluation plans, test results and technical manuals.
Monitors and evaluates competitive applications and products. Reviews literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.
Works with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.
Applies full use and application of engineering methodologies related to area of engineering specialty.
Displays knowledge of engineering concepts and skills and knowledge of their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.
Displays knowledge of and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Join as a member of our Agile Scrum team which develops and enhances capabilities to directly support our residential customers. Customer devices include Cable Modem, WiFi and more. We have both a frontend application and a robust set of services used by other frontend applications providing digital , customer care and technician support. As part of the development team we are looking for someone who can collaborate effectively in a small group environment, complete work on time and with quality and show initiative in new work opportunities .
We do almost all our development in using Java, Cloud Foundry, PL-SQL, Linux and GitHub. It’s desired to have experience in the previous areas and experience with GWT , HTML, Angular, JavaScript and CSS would be a plus.

Salary:
Pay Range: $55,103.92 - $82,655.88
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
