The School of Society and Culture, within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business have an opportunity for a recent graduate of the Immigration and Refugee Law Clinic. This is a fantastic opportunity to get experience of Immigration and Refugee Law casework in the Law Clinic and begin to train towards OISC (Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner) Level 1 qualification. It is essential that you have been involved in a law clinic setting as part of your student studies. To work as part of the Refugee Family Reunion/Immigration Law Clinic team, based in the University of Plymouth Law Clinic. You will work directly with clients in supporting a range of applications such as family reunion, fee waivers, settlement and citizenship. This role is designed as a training opportunity for graduates of UoP’s Refugee Family Reunion/Immigration Law Clinic who want to pursue a career in Refugee and Immigration law. You will undertake training to reach OISC qualification to enable you to handle complex casework to that level in your future career. This role will require an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check plus an Adults’ Barred List check.
