This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Tasks
These positions could work in any department of the Material Handling facility. There is constant box handling throughout the entire area and must be willing to repeatedly push, pull, lift and carry up to 100 pounds, must be willing to work in extreme cold or hot (33 degrees to 100 degrees), dry environments, willing to work above shoulder level and walking/standing 8-12 hours a day on concrete floors or grating. Must be willing to work in areas that are up 5 stories tall with open grade flooring where ground level will be visible.
ATTENTION: These positions also may involve the minimal use of hand-held scanners.
Requirements
Must be available to work either B or C shift. Days off vary, Material Handling Department works 7 days a week, 24 hours each day and can include shifts on Sundays and some major holidays. All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and pass a urinalysis screening, which is part of the post-offer health assessment.
